The Park has been closed due to Hurricane Earl. We will re-open on Saturday, September 4 at 11 a.m.   The Art Gallery reception has also been cancelled for the evening of September 3. The show will be available for viewing On Tuesday, September 7.

The series brings another dimension to our existing programming and a consistency of time, date and quality of a performing arts experience. Join the husband wife team for an afternoon of art songs, arias and selections from the Great American
Songbook. Their program will include Antonio Vivaldi, Gioachino Rossini, Reynaldo Ahn, Hoagy Carmichael
and George Gershwin.




David Holt & Josh Goforth

April 25 at 4:00 p.m.
Indoor Theatre

Four-time Grammy Award winner David Holt and rising acoustic music star Josh Goforth join together and bring to life the joy and spirit of old time mountain music and stories.They combine the virtuosic sounds of guitar, banjo, fiddle, slide guitar and mandolin with outstanding vocal harmonies. Throw in a world of irresistible rhythm created from hambone, spoons, bones, stump-fiddle, jaw harp, even the paper bag and you have a toe-tapping program of songs, stories and amazing musicianship that appeals to all ages.




The Ravel Trio

August 22 at 4:00 p.m.
Indoor Theatre

The Ravel Trio includes pianist Daniel Lau, cellist Nancy Baun, and violinist Simon Maurer. Each member is an accomplished solo artist and chamber musician. Their past events include performing the Beethoven Triple Concerto with the Loudoun Symphony, presenting a series on Russian Chamber Music at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, preparing a performance of an amateur wind ensemble, and providing a workshop at Indiana University of Pennsylvania about combining dance and chamber music.

The Lyric Brass Quintet

September 26 at 4:00 p.m.
Indoor Theatre

Formed in 1998, The Lyric Brass Quintet (Bob Couto & Kevin Dines, Trumpets; Larry Williams, Horn; Brandon Rivera, Trombone; and Andrew Spang, Tuba) quickly distinguished itself as one of the premier brass chamber groups in the region. As winners of the 2000 Baltimore Chamber Music Competition they performed at ARTSCAPE (Baltimore's Festival of the Arts), and their debut CD, Daydreams, Desires and Diversions was released the same year to critical acclaim. They have been featured artists on the Baltimore Composer's Forum, the Peggy and Yale Gordon Trust Concert Series, and at the Foxboro Orpheum in Boston. They have appeared as soloists in Eric Ewazen's concerto grosso, Shadowcatcher, with the Peabody Wind Ensemble and were featured artists on Virginia's Catch a Rising Star Concert Series.

The Conner Miller Duo

October 24 at 4:00 p.m.
Indoor Theatre

The Conner Miller Duo combines the playing and singing talents of Mike Conner and John Miller. The duo performs traditional renditions of Old-Time, Brother Duets, and American Roots, but they also perform original songs. Founding director of Fiddlefest in Roanoke, Virginia, Conner’s musical experience includes working with Herschel Sizemore and The Hearts. A guitarist and mandolin player/ instructor for the Eastman Guitar Company, John Miller’s touring experience includes the Lonesome River Band and Doyle Lawson. Combining the tradition of Appalachian melody with the experiences from their bluegrass careers, the Conner Miller Duo introduces a fresh sense of “acoustic Americana” to their listeners.
