Facilities and Land Committee

Responsibility: To review and oversee the quality of the physical operation and maintenance (but not programming) of Festival Park and its physical plant, including but not limited to ensuring that the Elizabeth II, visitor center, museum, Indian village; performance arts facilities, and other facilities on Festival Park Island are maintained in top quality condition; plan appropriate future development on Festival Park and any other lands owned or managed by the Commission; provide policy recommendations concerning land or facilities owned or to be acquired by the Commission; and, provide recommendations concerning such coordination as may be necessary with the Department of Natural and Economic Resources with respect to matters of natural resources and environmental affairs.
