Begin your Roanoke Island Festival Park adventure in the Visitor Center, where you will find up-to-date information on daily park activities, as well as local and regional information. This is also the place to purchase admission stickers that will give you access to the park’s main venues. Admission stickers are honored for two consecutive days.

Admission to the Park includes climbing aboard the Elizabeth II sailing ship; living the life of a 16th century settler in the Settlement Site; Exploring 400 years of Outer Banks history in the Roanoke Adventure Museum; Discovering the American Indian Town; viewing the Legend of Two Path film and more. Additional programming is offered during the summer months: Elizabeth II- Noon- gun drill/10 a.m. and 4 p.m.- Sail drill lower/ furl sails( Mon-Fri); Settlement Site- 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.- pike and small arms demo/ 2 p.m. skittles tournament( Tues and Thurs);American Indian Town- 1 p.m. canoe program ( Tues,Wed and Thurs) 11:30 a.m. children's games; Roanoke Adventure Museum- 10 :30 a.m. themed storytime based on roaming porch activity ( Mon-Fri).

An admission sticker is not required to enjoy shopping for treasures in The Museum Store; viewing the exhibits in the Art Gallery; hunting for fossils in the Fossil Pit; researching in the Outer Banks History Center; strolling through marshes and maritime forest on our boardwalks ; viewing our award-winning shoreline restoration project; visiting the Roanoke Island Maritime Museum and Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse, just a block away.
